5 Things You Can Do To Organize Your Phone

Picture
People are relying on their smartphones more than ever, so here are 5 simple things we can do to make this "piece of us" more organized.

1.Delete Useless Apps

We do it. We download apps that we don't even need... Then there they are, cluttering not only the screen, but also the memory of the phone. Time to make some tough decisions! Go on your phone and let go of all those apps you don't use {or never did}. If down the road you see you need it, you can always download it again.

2. Organize The Remaining Apps

Now that you deleted the apps that were on your way, how about organizing the ones you have left? You can make "folders" by category. Example: Social Media, Work, News, Tv & Videos, Photo & Editing, Finances, etc. Or you can also use these same categories to organize the apps by "page". If you like the way your screen looks, that's also fine.

3. Check Your Notes

I don't know about you, but I create a lot of notes on my phone. The problem is that I keep forgetting to delete the ones that are not useful anymore. Then I end up not really seeing the ones that are actually important, because they are far on the list. The best thing to do is to delete the notes once you don't need them right away.

4. Declutter Photos & Videos

How many photos and videos do you have on your phone? I know I got many... But goo chunk of them could easily go. This is a great assignment for when you're bored somewhere. Start deleting them from the oldest files to the newest, and don't forget to also do a backup.

5. Make Albums

Now that you delete the files you no longer need, how about adding those pictures to albums? For me, I have a "Before & After" album {or folder} on my phone to keep my photos from clients, and another one to keep photos I might use for social media like my for my Instagram {@neataholic}. It helps finding what I need when I need them to post, show them to someone, or just to look at them.
Decluttering the phone is important to save time and storage space. Your text & talk may be unlimited, but your phone memory is not. Decluttering is easy when you do it as a habit.
